Job summary

CarShield is seeking an experienced AI Specialist with full-stack development expertise to join its AI team at the St. Peters, MO headquarters.

You will build and improve internal applications used by Claims, QA, and Sales teams, including AI-enabled tools that score risk and review claims. Responsibilities include delivering new features from development to deployment using Angular, TypeScript, C#, and ASP.NET Core, modernizing apps, and ensuring robust integrations with SQL Server, Salesforce,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong full-stack software development experience in a production environment.
• Hands-on experience with C# and ASP.NET Core/.NET.
• Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL; SQL Server experience preferred.
• Experience supporting and maintaining applications after production launch.
• Ability to troubleshoot production issues, analyze existing code, and implement durable fixes.
• Experience with REST APIs and third-party system integrations.
• Interest in building AI-enabled applications and working with large language models or AI agents.
• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and GitHub Actions preferred.
• Experience with Active Directory, LDAP/LDAPS, or enterprise authentication preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric or Salesforce integrations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build, support, and improve internal applications used by multiple teams.
• Develop features from development through deployment using Angular, TypeScript, C#, and ASP.NET Core (.NET 10).
• Maintain and modernize applications through upgrades, patches, and migrations.
• Diagnose and optimize slow queries and overall performance.
• Maintain integrations with SQL Server, Microsoft Fabric, Salesforce, and third-party APIs.
• Support AI-enabled functionality embedded in production apps.
• Containerize and deploy using Docker and GitHub Actions.
• Work on on-site authentication and access control.
