Job summary

Hunter Recruiting is seeking a Master Planner to lead forecasting and demand planning across multiple product lines. You will develop data-driven planning models, drive inventory optimization, and align forecasted demand with business needs.

You will guide a team, leverage AI-enabled tools, and partner with procurement to optimize stock levels and service metrics. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in SCM, business, engineering, or related field.
• At least five years in supply planning or related field; healthcare experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to lead teams.
• Experience with forecasting, inventory management, and KPI tracking.
• Proficient in data analysis and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain forecasts across product categories and planning horizons.
• Analyze trends, identify drivers, prepare forecasting data, develop models, and evaluate performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate assumptions and update models.
• Use AI forecasting platforms to improve visibility and accuracy.
• Partner with supply chain and procurement to plan inventory for products.
• Lead daily team operations and set priorities.
• Ensure adherence to planning cycles and standard methodologies.
• Coach and develop staff on forecasting techniques and workflows.
• Monitor KPIs, analyze forecast errors, and implement corrective actions.
• Identify processes impacting demand and implement fixes.
• Serve as SME in supply planning with procurement and analysts.
• Oversee collection and validation of forecasting data.
• Communicate findings via reports, dashboards, and presentations.
