Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, or Finance or equivalent experience.
• 0-3 years' accounting, financial analysis and modeling experience.
• Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Excel.
• Experience with QuickBooks or other accounting systems is a plus.
• Experience with analytic tools such as Power BI & Tableau are also a plus.

Responsibilities

• Daily bookkeeping for small businesses
• Use AI tools (Claude, etc) to create more efficient accounting processes
• Gather and organize sets of data in order to report key metrics
• Leverage efficient methods to improve the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting
• Consistently analyze financial information based on both routine and ad-hoc reports
• Interpret financial data to recognize changing trends, patterns, and their meaning related to key performance indicators
• Communicate financial insights suggesting business issues to management
