Job summary

Axon is seeking a Finance Transformation AI Lead to design, build, and deploy AI-enabled solutions that boost Finance efficiency, analytics, and decision-making.

You will partner with Finance stakeholders, translate requirements into technical designs, prototype rapidly, and deliver production-ready AI and automation capabilities.

This hands-on role emphasizes learning business processes, integrating AI tools, and delivering measurable business value in a hybrid US-based environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building business applications, automation solutions, analytics products, or technical process improvements.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate business requirements into working solutions.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude, GitHub Copilot, Codex, or similar platforms.
• Hands-on experience building AI-enabled workflows, automations, analytics solutions, or business applications.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with business data.
• Experience with at least one scripting or development language such as Python.
• Experience with APIs, integrations, and workflow automation platforms.
• Ability to quickly learn business processes and work directly with non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills and a bias toward execution and delivery.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy AI-enabled solutions for Finance transformation.
• Partner with Finance stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into designs.
• Prototype rapidly and deliver production-ready AI, analytics, and automation capabilities.
• Create AI-powered workflows, assistants, and decision-support tools for Finance operations.
• Lead solution delivery from requirements to deployment and stabilization.
• Coordinate testing, user feedback, and rollout activities.
• Create lightweight documentation, user guides, and training materials.
• Monitor solution performance and continuously improve deployed capabilities.
