Job summary

Axon is seeking a hands-on Business Systems Architect – Finance (D365 FO) to design and implement scalable financial solutions across the organization. You will lead architecture efforts, drive standardization, and partner with finance leadership to optimize processes in a fast-growing environment.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate D365 FO with other ERP systems, drive AI-enabled initiatives, and deliver on time. This role reports to the Sr.

Qualifications

• D365 FO: extensive hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and financial processes.
• Experience leading finance-related solution design and implementations.
• Ability to design integrations with other financial systems.
• Familiarity with Agile/SAFe and project management practices.
• Excellent collaboration and communication with senior finance leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of innovative financial solutions within the D365 FO platform.
• Conduct fit/gap analyses and develop detailed design specifications when necessary.
• Aim to implement standard processes with minimal customization.
• Design integrations with other financial systems for revenue recognition, tax, consolidations, and reporting.
• Oversee full lifecycle of finance-related projects from requirements to deployment and support.
• Collaborate with solution architects, finance teams, developers, and analysts to deliver effective financial solutions.
• Engage with Axon’s finance leadership to align IT with business needs and emerging ERP trends.
• Provide training and mentorship to the functional analysis team and end-users.
• Stay informed on D365 Finance, Power Platform, Copilot, AI capabilities and best practices for responsible AI adoption in Finance.
• Partner with data/analytics teams to enable modern reporting, governance, and data integrity.
