Job summary

Micron Technology in Boise, Idaho, is seeking an experienced Operations Equipment Program Manager to lead tool installation programs for high-volume manufacturing. You will partner with equipment teams, Fab leadership, procurement and global partners to ensure installs meet schedules and quality targets.

You will drive continuous improvement using data insights and AI-enabled workflows, mentor field service engineers, and influence cross-functional teams to deliver safe, efficient installations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or related field, with 10+ years in equipment leadership.
• Experience managing supplier projects and programs; able to prioritize in fast-paced environments.
• Experience with semiconductor tool installation, qualification, and startup activities.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and presentation skills; solid stakeholder management.
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive solutions to execution.

Responsibilities

• Support Equipment Managers and Tool Owners in delivering tool installations.
• Drive priority alignment and issue resolution across organizations.
• Audit installation quality, safety, and schedule adherence.
• Partner with global teams on standardization and improvement projects.
• Influence supplier performance through executive engagement and reviews.
• Lead benchmarking and adoption of best practices to enhance readiness.
