Job summary

Seattle Children’s is seeking a Learning Experience Designer to craft engaging training for our clinical IT systems, with a focus on Epic EHR. You will blend instructional design, multimedia production, and clinical context to deliver effective learning experiences.

The role emphasizes AI-enabled content development, collaboration across clinical, admin, and technical teams, and ongoing maintenance of enterprise training materials. Epic certification within 3 months may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education Technology, Health Informatics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of instructional design and content development experience.
• Expertise with Storyline/Rise and Camtasia/Snagit
• Experience designing software simulation training.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop training content for enterprise IT systems (Epic EHR focus).
• Develop software simulation training to support clinical and operational workflows.
• Collaborate with clinical, administrative, and technical teams to ensure learning impact.
