Job summary

Children’s National Hospital in Washington, DC is seeking a Senior Technology Trainer to partner with clinical, operational, revenue cycle and IS stakeholders to design and deliver an enterprise technology training program focused on the Epic EHR and related applications.

Reporting to the Manager of Technology Training and Adoption, you will help implement a continuous learning model to improve user adoption, system mastery, and patient safety, care delivery, and staff experience across

Qualifications

• Five years of clinical, operational, revenue cycle, technical, and/or training experience with health information technology.
• Experience with the Epic EHR is advantageous.
• Three years of staff onboarding, adult education, curriculum development, instructional design, and/or training delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead EHR training strategy aligned with organizational goals.
• Design and deliver training curricula for clinical, operational, and administrative users.
• Maintain training environments and test data for go-lives.
• Coordinate training for system go-lives and upgrades.
• Promote change management and adoption of new features.
• Monitor training effectiveness and user adoption with metrics.
• Collaborate with IS, department leaders, and vendors to meet user needs.
• Update training materials and guides across channels.
