Job summary

Seattle Children’s is seeking a Learning Experience Designer to design, develop and maintain engaging training content for Epic and other enterprise IT systems. You will blend instructional design with multimedia production, applying AI to improve efficiency and learner outcomes.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in instructional design, proficiency with Storyline/Rise and Camtasia/Snagit, and a track record in software simulation training within healthcare IT contexts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in instructional design and content development.
• Expertise using industry-standard authoring tools like Articulate Storyline/Rise and TechSmith Camtasia/Snagit.
• Demonstrated experience designing and developing software simulation training.
• Strong understanding of modern web-based learning principles and multimedia development.
• Aptitude for learning and applying new technologies, with a specific, articulated understanding of how to leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) for content development efficiencies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical information into easily understandable learning content for diverse audiences (clinical, administrative, and technical). Epic certification is required within 3 months of employment if necessary. 2 test retakes will be allowed during the 3 month timeframe.”],
