Job summary

Ama is transforming environmental compliance with AI-powered agents for physical world projects. The Agentic Compliance Engineer (ACE) role sits at the heart of Ama, running and improving our agent harness and owning the reports that go to clients.

You will output end-to-end reports, verify results against source documents and regulatory standards, interpret site histories, manage timelines and scope, and collaborate with engineering to ship fixes that improve the system.

Qualifications

• Ability to assess site history and regulatory records.
• High attention to detail and skepticism of outputs.
• Strong organizational skills and project management abilities.
• Interest in AI agents, coding, and software experimentation.

Responsibilities

• Run our agents on Phase I ESAs and other environmental reports, from intake to final draft.
• Verify agent output against source documents, regulatory databases, and the standard.
• Interpret site history, regulatory records, and site conditions to assess implications.
• Own client projects: manage timelines, scope, and communications.
• Improve the system by turning errors into fixes and shipping them with engineering.
