Job summary

Brown & Brown Insurance in Daytona Beach seeks a Digital Operations Center Leader to define and execute the enterprise strategy for proactive service operations, reliability engineering, and digital operational excellence.

The role will transform a traditional command center into an AI-enabled, observability-driven DOC, overseeing Major Incident Management, Monitoring & Observability, and SRE practices to improve availability and customer experience.

Qualifications

• Over a decade leading IT operations / digital environments.
• Led enterprise operations, NOCs, or similar centers.
• Deep knowledge of monitoring, observability, incident & problem management.
• Experience managing large MSP relationships.
• Experience guiding operational transformation initiatives.
• Strong executive stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the enterprise Digital Operations strategy.
• Build a modern, AI-enabled command center with proactive detection and automated response.
• Set enterprise standards for monitoring, observability, event management and service health.
• Lead Major Incident Management and ensure rapid, coordinated responses.
• Mature SRE practices to improve availability and reliability.
• Drive AI, automation, and predictive analytics adoption to scale operations.
• Create operational dashboards and executive reporting on service health.
• Oversee the managed services provider and governance for outcomes.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, Service Management and business leaders.
• Drive root cause analysis and continual service improvement.
