Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to contribute to SAFe and Scrum teams, automating deployments and securing operations across on-prem and cloud environments. You will help maintain build pipelines, monitor systems, and implement reliable, scalable infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years in related roles, strong scripting skills, and the ability to work with enterprise security requirements and A&A teams to sustain compliance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of related experience in DevSecOps or systems engineering.
• Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science required.
• 3+ years of related systems programming experience.

Responsibilities

• Automate and optimize service deployments.
• Integrate with enterprise authentication services.
• Establish and improve system monitoring with security practices within development, test, and production systems.
• Architect, build and maintain on premise and/or cloud infrastructure to support team and customer initiatives.
• Maintain and improve existing build and deployment processes using CI/CD tools.
• Enforce best practices for security and reliability, and drive security initiatives.
• Work with A&A Teams to maintain security requirements for operation of systems.
• Maintain up to date documentation of designs/configurations.
