Job summary

Insight Global is hiring a Decision Engineer to design, build, and deploy AI-powered applications and automation tools that improve operational efficiency across multiple business units. You will partner with stakeholders from infrastructure, data center, manufacturing, supply chain, finance, and HR to automate bottlenecks and deliver measurable business impact.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience building production systems.
• Strong programming experience in Python, Go, or TypeScript.
• Experience building modern web applications and backend services.
• Hands-on experience with LLM APIs and AI-powered applications.
• Familiarity with agent frameworks, workflow automation, and AI development tools.
• Excellent communication and ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy AI-powered applications, automation tools, and decision systems.
• Partner with operational and business teams to understand workflows and automate opportunities.
• Own projects end-to-end from problem identification to deployment and adoption.
• Build integrations between LLMs and internal systems, APIs, databases, and business apps.
• Develop agent-driven workflows and productivity tools to improve decision-making.
• Translate knowledge into scalable software; create reusable AI infrastructure and tooling.
• Design data models and operational systems connecting information across functions.
• Evaluate new AI technologies and measure outcomes against business impact.
