Pivotal Talent Search is seeking a Data and Solutions Engineer to join our technology team in Salt Lake City. The role blends development, data stewardship, and solution design to support Salesforce, NetSuite, Avalara, and our proprietary Fleet platform.

Qualifications

4+ years hands-on development across business systems.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
Demonstrated data engineering capability: data modeling, database design, SQL, ETL or integrations.
Daily use of AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT) in production.
Solid understanding of Salesforce data model, security, and permissions.

Responsibilities

Design and build Salesforce solutions using Flows, Apex, and other tools for scalable development.
Build and maintain applications, scripts, and automations beyond Salesforce, including integrations and data shuttles.
Use AI-assisted tools to accelerate coding, code review, and debugging.
Develop, test, and maintain data flows between Salesforce, NetSuite, and proprietary platforms.
Create dashboards and reports for leadership visibility.
Document configurations, data dictionaries, and runbooks; train users.
