Qualifications

• 3+ years in data engineering focused on data warehousing.
• Strong SQL and Python for data work.
• Ability to review AI outputs and verify correctness.
• Knowledge of dimensional modeling and slowly changing dimensions.
• Hands-on experience with dbt on a cloud warehouse.
• Working with relational and non-relational databases (DynamoDB, MongoDB).

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize cloud-native data pipelines on AWS — ETL/ELT and underlying infrastructure.
• Design and evolve data models powering analytics, operations, and AI/ML.
• Improve data reliability with governance, testing, and lineage.
• Partner with product and other engineering teams to turn business problems into data solutions.
• Evaluate data approaches like data mesh patterns and AI tooling for stack relevance.
• Grow into Finion Capital reporting where accuracy and auditability matter.
