Job summary

Dataro, Inc is seeking an experienced, customer-facing engineer to own onboarding and build data integrations for US clients. You will translate CRM data into model-ready inputs using Python and SQL, while automating repetitive tasks where possible.

You will collaborate with Sydney-based engineers, communicate clearly with customers, and drive onboarding efficiency with strong prioritization and independent work habits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a customer-facing technical role: solutions engineering, implementation, technical support, or data consulting.
• An AI native skillset. You love building with AI and can prove it.
• Strong SQL, with real comfort in large datasets.
• Confident Python for data work, automation, and scripting.
• Confidence with APIs: authenticating, paging through results, and debugging a failing integration from the logs.
• Working knowledge of AWS and Git.
• Excellent communication, and comfort leading technical customer calls and managing expectations.
• Good judgement about priority: you can triage a queue and explain why.
• Ability to work independently with limited oversight.

Responsibilities

• Own the onboarding queue and set priorities across it, triaging incoming work.
• Collaborate with customers to map their CRM and data structures, then write Python/SQL for ingestion.
• Run technical calls, keep CS teams informed, document onboarding processes and share knowledge.
