Dataro is seeking an experienced engineer to own the onboarding process for US customers, bridging clients with our Sydney-based team. You’ll shape integration pipelines, automate repetitive tasks, and guide customers through data onboarding and modeling workflows.

Role emphasizes collaboration with customers, clear communication, and autonomous work across time zones, leveraging modern AI tools and a data-driven tech stack.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a customer-facing technical role or similar.
• Experience building with AI and ML workflows.
• Strong SQL proficiency and data handling in large datasets.
• Proficient Python for data tasks, automation, and scripting.
• Experience with APIs: authentication, paging, and integration debugging.
• Working knowledge of AWS and Git.
• Excellent communication and ability to lead customer calls.
• Strong prioritization to manage onboarding queues.

Responsibilities

• Own and triage the onboarding queue; set priorities and track progress.
• Build customer integrations and data pipelines using Python/SQL; automate repetitive tasks.
• Lead technical calls with customers; explain constraints to non-engineers; document onboarding processes.
