Job summary

Threekit is seeking a hands-on Solutions Engineer to join our Sales Engineering team in Chicago, serving as a client-facing technical partner who demonstrates and configures Threekit's AI-native CPQ platform.

You'll show prospects how AI ingests catalogs, infers configuration and pricing rules, and produces accurate quotes faster than legacy CPQ, partnering with Account Executives and cross-functional teams to keep solutions technically accurate.

Qualifications

4-6 years in a client-facing technical role such as Solutions Engineer or Sales Engineer.
Strong technical aptitude with ability to learn new technologies quickly.
Foundational understanding of web technologies, APIs, and SaaS architectures.
Experience with configuring products, pricing, and quoting workflows and AI is a plus.

Responsibilities

Partner with Account Executives to support deals through technical discovery and demonstrations.
Map customer quoting workflows, product rules, and approval paths during client meetings.
Deliver AI-driven configuration, pricing, and quoting demos using customer catalogs and rules.
Respond to technical questions during the sales cycle (RFP/RFI).
