Job summary

Vertiv in Westerville, Ohio is seeking a Sr. Business Process Improvement Specialist to lead CPQ and sales-system initiatives across the full selling cycle. The role will own the CPQ system and align sales operations with strategic priorities, enabling field sales and order processing teams to operate efficiently.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• At least 4 years in Sales Operations, Project Management, Order Processing, or related roles.
• Experience with CRM, CPQ, and order intake processes.
• Interest in AI and system automation for sales improvements.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to present to cross-functional audiences.
• Customer-focused mindset; analytical problem-solver for root-causes.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute sales systems and process strategy focusing on the CPQ elements for all stakeholders.
• Evaluate how to best implement AI and related automations to improve both effectiveness and efficiency of the selling cycle.
• Drive user adoption.
• Map and improve sales systems and process across cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate IT changes to CRM, CPQ and related systems to improve user experience.
• Develop standard work instructions for each Sales Operations area.
• Drive change management practices to achieve and sustain improvement benefits.
