Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a CPQ Application Developer/System Analyst to design, implement, and support CPQ solutions across the enterprise. You will gather requirements, write specifications, and drive configurator projects with Sales Operations, Product Offering Managers, and Engineers.

Based onsite at Vertiv Westerville, OH HQ, you will build configurators using BML, BMQL, REST, SOAP, JavaScript and CSS, while improving user experience and sales effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IS, or related field.
• 3+ years experience with CPQ platforms (Salesforce CPQ, Oracle CPQ, or similar).
• Experience collecting, writing, and maintaining configurator specification documentation.
• Experience building new and complex product configurators, and maintaining existing configurators.
• Experience working with cross-functional integrations between systems in a highly cross-functional environment.
• Strong experience with SaaS applications, including developing, extending, and debugging cloud-based solutions.
• Hands-on expertise with REST and SOAP APIs to build and integrate CPQ modules with enterprise systems.
• Ability to work flexibly with shifting priorities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build trust and collaboration across geographic diversity.
• Experience working in an agile development environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using ServiceNow preferred but not required.
• Oracle CPQ certification preferred but not required.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Document business processes and translate requirements into technical specifications.
• Develop and maintain product configurators using BML, BMQL, REST, SOAP, JavaScript, CSS.
• Elicit and communicate requirements among stakeholders at all levels.
• Collaborate with team to analyze problems and opportunities.
• Test configuration models with Marketing and Engineering before release.
• Learn new skills through self-study and training classes.
• Use contemporary project management and office productivity tools to facilitate collaboration.
