Job summary

Cro Metrics is seeking a remote Copywriter - Conversion & Growth to craft hypothesis-driven, conversion-focused copy for paid ads, landing pages, emails, and SMS. You will build and manage brand-specific AI writing agents, scale copy output, and work across B2B and B2C clients with a strategic, data-informed approach.

You’ll collaborate with strategists and designers, support a long-term fractional engagement, and participate in an evaluation period with paid work.

Qualifications

• 2–4+ years of experience in conversion copywriting, direct-response writing, CRO copy, or performance marketing copy.
• Experience writing paid media copy (Meta, Google, LinkedIn) with awareness of character limits, platform specs, and creative best practices.
• A portfolio demonstrating copy written to be tested across ads, landing pages, headlines, or emails.
• Ability to absorb brand voice guides and produce on-brand copy on the first pass.

Responsibilities

• Write paid media ad copy across platforms (Meta, Google, LinkedIn) with headlines, descriptions, and creative copy.
• Produce landing page copy from briefs and wireframes in collaboration with designers.
• Write conversion-focused copy for A/B tests with clear hypotheses and testing plans.
• Create email and SMS copy for lifecycle campaigns within client brand voice guidelines.
• Rewrite underperforming copy based on test results and analytics with data-informed alternatives.
• Adapt quickly to new client brand voices and maintain on-brand output from first deliverable.
• Collaborate with strategists on hypothesis development and be the execution layer of the experimentation roadmap.
• Manage workload across multiple clients and communicate capacity, timelines, and blockers.
