Clients Blackbox Inc is seeking a Direct Response Copywriter to craft copy that converts across VSLs, sales pages, video scripts, and paid ads. This role emphasizes performance over fluff and requires strong persuasion to boost conversions.

Work with media buyers and strategists, iterate based on data, and use AI as a research aid without replacing copy skill. Monday–Friday, with occasional weekend hours around launches.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of direct response copywriting experience.
• Proven experience writing Video Sales Letters (VSLs), sales pages, and long-form copy.
• Strong understanding of persuasion principles and conversion psychology.
• Comfortable using AI tools to speed up research, ideation, and iteration.
• Clear communicator who hits deadlines and follows direction.

Responsibilities

• Write and optimize VSLs, sales pages, and funnel copy.
• Create short-form and long-form video scripts and ad copy.
• Collaborate with media buyers and strategists to improve performance.
• Iterate copy based on feedback, performance data, and testing insights.
• Use AI as a leverage tool, not a substitute for copy skill.
