Job summary

Trust & Will, a leading digital estate planning platform, seeks a Controller to oversee accounting operations, drive internal controls, and lead audits across the company and its subsidiaries. You will leverage AI-enabled workflows and a modern tech stack to ensure accurate financial reporting and scalable processes.

Reporting to the CFO, you will partner with FP&A on cost analyses and strategic planning, while mentoring a growing accounting team in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of accounting experience with 4–5 years in a Controller role.

• Hands-on AI/automation experience in accounting workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own accounting operations for Trust & Will and subsidiaries.
• 0Lead month-end close, tax compliance, and AP/AR.
• Develop and maintain internal controls to scale operations.
• Manage accounting tech stack and collaborate with FP&A.
