Trust & Will is a remote-first leader in digital estate planning, seeking a Controller to guide accounting across the company and subsidiaries during a growth phase. You will own the month-end close, tax compliance, and AP/AR to ensure data integrity.

This role partners with the CFO on strategy, builds internal controls, and optimizes the accounting tech stack (Ramp, Rillet, Excel/Sheets) with AI-driven processes. CPA preferred; Big 4 background a plus.

Competenze

• Minimum 10 years of accounting experience with 4-5 years in a Controller or leadership role.
• Experience in high-growth environments; startup/VC exposure is a plus.
• Hands-on AI/automation in accounting workflows; strong internal controls.
• Proficiency with Ramp and Rillet; familiarity with GAAP and regulatory reporting.
• Experience managing and developing direct reports; excellent communication.

Mansioni

• Own accounting operations for Trust & Will and its subsidiaries; monthly close and data accuracy.
• Lead tax compliance, accounts payable/receivable, and reconciliation processes.
• Develop and maintain internal controls to support scaling and risk management.
• Lead audits and ensure accuracy down to the last detail.
• Manage accounting tech stack; collaborate with FP&A to optimize systems.
• Partner with CFO on cost analysis and financial planning; oversee vendor relationships.
