Job summary

Trust & Will, a leading digital estate planning platform, is seeking a senior Controller to guide financial operations during a growth phase. You will own accounting for Trust & Will and subsidiaries, drive month-end close, tax compliance, and internal controls while partnering with FP&A and the CFO.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in accounting, leadership experience, and a track record with AI/automation in workflows.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of accounting experience, with at least 4-5 years in a Controller or similar leadership role within a high-growth environment.
• CPA certification is preferred.
• Experience with AI or automation to accounting workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own accounting operations for Trust & Will and subsidiaries.
• Lead month-end close, tax compliance, and payables/receivables.
• Develop and maintain internal controls to scale operations.
• Manage and optimize the accounting tech stack; collaborate with FP&A.
• Analyze costs with CFO and FP&A to identify opportunities.
• Oversee vendor relationships and policy compliance.
