You will lead SEO and AI-driven outreach, refresh old content for higher rankings, and shape thought leadership plus product content with a human editor's oversight. You’ll report on organic growth using GA4 and SEO tools and collaborate with freelancers.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in content marketing with SEO results you can show.
• A portfolio with traffic or pipeline numbers attached.
• WordPress or a comparable CMS, comfortably.
• Experience editing other writers or managing freelancers.
• Based in the Triangle or ready to move.

Responsibilities

• Own the editorial calendar for a B2B tech, health or education brand.
• Run SEO and AI search visibility: Google AI Overviews, Perplexity, structured content.
• Refresh and consolidate old content so it ranks, not just add more.
• Use ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini in the workflow, with a human editor's judgment on every piece.
• Write and edit thought leadership, product content and sales enablement.
• Report on organic growth in GA4, Search Console and Semrush or Ahrefs
