Job summary

Mortenson is seeking a Project Manager of Project Solutions to coordinate and improve project controls processes across our project teams. The role blends construction know-how with technology delivery, configuring workflows, and piloting AI-enabled capabilities in tools like Procore and Bluebeam.

The candidate will train teams, translate field needs into actionable configurations, and support ongoing optimization of project systems and data governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business, Accounting, Finance, MIS, or equivalent preferred.
• 5 years’ experience in construction technology is preferred.
• Experience executing construction PM control processes and strong communication with field teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide training and support for project controls processes and tools.
• Configure and improve project-facing systems to align with delivery processes.
• Identify AI opportunities within workflows and coordinate with Data & AI teams.
• Assist with AI development through SME input and data labeling.
• Monitor software utilization and drive continuous improvement across sites.
• Lead rollout, training, and change management for new AI features.
