Job summary

Mortenson is seeking a Project Manager of Project Solutions to optimize project control processes and drive AI-enabled capabilities across Procore, Datagrid, Clearstory, and related tools. This role blends construction knowledge with technology delivery to improve project workflows on site and in the field.

The position includes training teams, configuring systems, and partnering with Data & AI groups to translate field needs into actionable requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, Accounting, Finance, MIS, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years' experience in the construction technology industry is preferred.
• Experience executing construction Project Management Control Processes.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management with field teams and leadership.
• Analytical mindset with data-driven process improvements.
• Interest in AI/Automation and testing new approaches responsibly.
• Understanding of PM concepts: financial management, contract management, controls, and document management.
• Familiar with Lean principles and data governance and disciplined change management.
• Strong teamwork, influence, and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work cross-functionally; excellent verbal and written communication; presentation skills a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint, Teams, and other Office365 tools; familiarity with Procore, Autodesk, and Bluebeam; ability to understand system administration.

Responsibilities

• Provide training and support for project controls processes via webinars, documentation, and on-demand video education.
• Configure and improve project-facing systems to align with standard project delivery processes.
• Identify high-value AI opportunities embedded in system workflows and translate needs to technical requirements.
• Partner with Data & AI teams to translate field problems into AI inputs/outputs and guardrails.
• Support AI development by providing SME input and labeling sample datasets.
• Assist with monitoring and continuous-improvement loops: feedback capture, quality reviews, drift detection, retrain triggers.
• Coordinate rollout, training, and documentation of AI features and usage guidelines.
• Translate field needs into workable configurations, SOPs, and trainings to reduce friction.
• Evaluate and pilot emerging technologies across project teams.
