Dominion Financial Services (DFS) seeks a detail-oriented Construction Draw Analyst to support underwriting for real estate investors. You will work across properties from single-family to multi-family projects, translating plans and permits into precise cost estimates and draw requests.

Qualifications

• Background in single-family or multi-family construction
• Experience evaluating multi-family properties
• Strong understanding of construction processes and lifecycles
• Ability to read and interpret building plans and documentation
• Experience estimating materials, labor and total project costs
• Familiarity with codes, permitting, and municipal requirements
• Experience with project budgets using CSI MasterFormat divisions
• Excellent Excel skills will be used to analyze data and costs

Responsibilities

• Evaluate underwriting reports using data platforms on recently sold properties
• Write and edit property evaluations for up to 140 loans per month
• Analyze 5–8 real estate deals and 10–20 construction draws per week
• Evaluate construction draws, budgets, and scopes across multiple projects
• Review inspection reports, draw requests and supporting docs for accuracy
• Track project progress, remaining reserves and funding timelines
• Identify discrepancies between inspections, budgets and borrower draws
• Reconcile property costs before and after rehabilitation
