Job summary

Actalent is seeking a highly skilled computational biology professional to join our hybrid team in Pearl River, NY. You will integrate multi-omics data including transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics, and immune profiling to identify biomarkers related to vaccine response and safety.

You will design AI-agent solutions, build data pipelines, and collaborate with computational biologists, data scientists, and software engineers to translate research goals into scalable AI tools.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in computational biology, bioinformatics, CS, or related field.
• Experience analyzing multi-omics datasets for biomedical or vaccine research.
• Experience with biomarker discovery or immune-response analysis.
• Strong communication and collaboration in hybrid teams.
• Hands-on experience with single-cell sequencing data.
• Experience building AI or LLM-based applications is desirable.
• Strong Python software engineering skills and reproducible coding practices.

Responsibilities

• Integrate and analyze multi-omics datasets to identify biomarkers for vaccine response.
• Familiar with bulk RNA-seq, single-cell RNA-seq, TCR/BCR profiling, and immune data analysis.
• Design AI-agent solutions to explore and generate insights from multi-omics data.
• Build data pipelines and knowledge systems for cross-dataset retrieval and reasoning.
• Develop interfaces and APIs to access internal and external resources.
• Collaborate with computational biologists, data scientists, and software engineers to translate needs into AI solutions.
