UserTesting is seeking a highly skilled IT Infrastructure Engineer to drive AI enablement within cloud infrastructure. The role blends hands-on AI hosting, MCPs, and traditional cloud work across AWS/GCP, with a 80/20 focus on AI building versus classic IT tasks.

You will configure AI tools, manage hosting environments, and support enterprise-scale deployments. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in cloud/DevOps, strong scripting, containerization, and IaC experience, plus familiarity with IAM,

Qualifications

5+ years in cloud infrastructure and/or DevOps engineering.
Hands-on with AWS and/or GCP (compute, networking, IAM, storage).
Experience deploying apps across cloud infrastructure.
Strong scripting and automation (Python, Bash).
Containerization with Docker and Kubernetes; IaC tooling (Terraform, CloudFormation).
CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) and IaC docs familiarity.
Familiarity with API integrations, keys, permissions, and security basics.
Ability to mentor IT staff and work with cross-functional teams.
IDP tools (Okta) and OAuth/SSO concepts are a plus.

Responsabilités

Set up and maintain MCP servers connecting AI systems to data sources.
Design hosting environments for AI apps on AWS/GCP with scaling and load balancing.
Maintain CI/CD pipelines and IaC for AI-hosted apps.
Document AI integrations, architectures, runbooks, and cost tracking.
Monitor uptime, performance, and cost; implement alerting (Datadog, CloudWatch).
Collaborate with Security, Engineering, and People Ops for governance.
Lead or assist in projects; communicate with non-technical stakeholders.
Stay current with AI tooling and cloud ecosystem; evaluate new tools.
