Job summary

UserTesting in the United States is seeking a Senior IT Systems Administrator to lead AI tooling and infrastructure alongside traditional SysAdmin duties. You will deploy and maintain MCP servers, configure AI features in enterprise SaaS tools, manage credentials and API access, and document architectures and runbooks.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of enterprise IT experience, strong scripting in Python/Bash, and hands-on work with API integrations, Git, and AI platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with enterprise IT systems in a system administrator capacity.
• Hands-on experience with MCP server setup and management, AI agent deployment, AI feature configuration within enterprise SaaS tools.
• Familiarity with scripting & automation technologies in Python and/or Bash, with working knowledge of Git for version control and JSON/YAML for config and API work.
• Familiarity with API-based integrations — managing keys, scoping permissions, reading docs, and troubleshooting connectivity issues.

Responsibilities

• AI Enablement & Infrastructure: Deploy and lifecycle manage AI solutions and MCP servers; scope calls and stakeholder demos.
• AI features: Enable and govern AI capabilities within existing SaaS platforms (e.g., Atlassian Rovo, Slack AI, Okta AI, ChatGPT, Google Gemini).
• Agent infrastructure: Provision service accounts, API keys, permissions, rate limits, and auditing for agents across systems.
• Documentation: Maintain architecture diagrams, access maps, runbooks, and troubleshooting guides.
• System administration: Manage onboarding/offboarding, access management, feature rollouts, and lifecycle reviews across platforms.
• Support & Collaboration: Escalation point for ITSM issues; collaborate with Security, People Ops, Engineering on AI tool adoption.
