Job summary

AvePoint, the Microsoft Cloud expert, seeks a Chief Data and Analytics Officer to define and execute the company's data strategy across product, engineering, GTM, and finance. You will drive governance, data quality, and analytics at scale to enable AI-powered decision-making and product-led growth.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in data, analytics, engineering, or information management.
• 7+ years leading enterprise data organizations.
• Proven experience modernizing enterprise data architecture.
• Experience implementing cloud data platforms such as Azure, AWS, Snowflake, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, or equivalent.
• Demonstrated success building enterprise data governance programs.
• Experience partnering closely with Product organizations and using product analytics to drive growth.
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Product-led growth, AI/ML data platform experience, customer analytics or telemetry expertise, enterprise transformation initiatives preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute AvePoint's enterprise data strategy, aligning data investments with business growth, product-led growth, AI, and customer-centric decision-making.
• Define and lead AvePoint's enterprise data operating model with clear accountability across centralized data capabilities and governance forums.
• Lead modernization of data architecture, platforms, and ecosystem to create a scalable, governed enterprise data foundation.
• Establish enterprise data product management practices including semantic models, data catalogs, and data quality standards.
• Build data capabilities to measure product adoption, customer health, retention, and expansion.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to define telemetry standards and data contracts linking adoption to roadmap decisions.
• Collaborate with ELT to set governance, privacy, security, and KPI standards for trusted decision-making.
• Deliver self-service analytics, executive reporting, and data products enabling data-driven decisions.
• Lead data foundation for AI and advanced analytics with high-quality, governed data across the enterprise.
• Develop a high-performing team and cross-functional partnerships across Product, Engineering, GTM, Finance, People, Security, IT.
