Job summary

AvePoint is seeking a Chief Data and Analytics Officer to define and execute our enterprise data strategy, modernize data architecture, and establish governance across the organization.

The role leads data products, telemetry standards, and analytics capabilities to empower AI initiatives, product-led growth, and informed executive decision-making. You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, GTM, and Finance to build a data-driven culture.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive leadership in data, analytics, engineering, or information management (must).
• 7+ years leading enterprise data organizations.
• Experience implementing cloud data platforms like Azure, AWS, Snowflake, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, or equivalent.
• Proven success building enterprise data governance programs.
• Experience partnering with Product teams and using product analytics to drive growth.
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute AvePoint's enterprise data strategy and governance.
• Modernize data architecture, platforms, and ecosystem for scalable, governed data foundations.
• Establish enterprise data product management, metrics, lineage, glossaries, and data catalogs.
• Lead data telemetry standards, event schemas, and analytics datasets supporting product decisions.
• Partner with ELT to set data priorities, privacy, security, and KPI governance.
• Deliver self-service analytics, executive reporting, BI, and data products across the organization.
• Build and mentor a high-performing data organization aligned with Product, Engineering, GTM, Finance, and IT.
