Accordion Partners is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to embed with client finance teams and build AI-powered agents on EPM/CPM platforms. You will focus on variance analysis, close reporting, and forecasting co-pilots to accelerate decision making.

The role blends AI, finance expertise, and on-site delivery, requiring travel up to 50–80% and strong collaboration with CFOs and FP&A leaders. Hybrid US-based with remote flexibility.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering experience with AI/automation.
• Proficient in Python and LLM orchestration frameworks.
• Strong SQL skills and API/data warehouse experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy AI agents for finance workflows.
• Integrate AI agents with EPM/CPM platforms (Oracle EPM Cloud, OneStream, Anaplan, Planful).
• Develop automated data reconciliation and validation workflows.
• Create RAG pipelines and multi-step agent architectures.
• Embed agents with client finance teams and ship production-grade solutions.
