Job summary

First American is seeking a Business Analyst to support business, risk, control, and transformation initiatives by translating needs into practical, well-controlled solutions. The role partners across functions to gather requirements and identify automation opportunities, including AI-enabled capabilities.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in Business or Information Systems and at least three years of experience in business analysis or related disciplines, with knowledge of COSO,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Three years experience in business analysis, digital transformation, compliance, or related discipline.
• Working knowledge of COSO, PCAOB Auditing Standards, NIST, SOX, ISO, SOC I, SOC II, Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) methodologies and practices.
• Experience supporting process redesign and automation using AI or similar technologies.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into actionable solutions.
• Support process, risk, and control discussions to identify key controls, models, data dependencies, and IT dependencies.
• Promote strong control ownership and documentation standards.
• Analyze current state processes to simplify workflows and improve efficiency via technology and AI.
