Job summary

Great American Insurance Group is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to join the Emerging Technology & Innovation team. You will translate ambiguous business needs into clear requirements, backlogs, and product direction, focusing on AI, automation, IoT, and image forensics.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to define MVP scope, support pilots, and drive scalable solutions from concept to production, delivering measurable business value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in MIS, BI, CS, or related field.
• Experience describing business needs as requirements and backlog items.
• Familiarity with PoVs, pilots, and emerging tech evaluations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Engage stakeholders to understand workflows and opportunities for tech-enabled improvement.
• Research emerging technologies, vendor capabilities, and market trends.
• Translate ideas into problem statements, backlog items, and user stories.
• Lead PoV through business case development and transition to scalable solutions.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, data, and vendors in agile settings.
