Dexian seeks a highly organized Contingent Worker to support vendor budgeting and commercial operations in Sunnyvale. You will oversee PO initiation, processing, tracking, and reconciliation for multiple vendor agreements, ensuring accurate budgeting and timely payments.

The role emphasizes cash flow discipline, accurate accruals, and correct accounting treatment across OpEx vs CapEx, with hands-on use of ERP systems and AI tooling to streamline repetitive tasks while preserving human oversight.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in finance, accounting, procurement, or vendor operations focusing on transactional processing.
• Able to explain accruals and apply differences between accrued, invoiced, and paid.
• Reason about capitalization versus expensing and appropriate routing to Accounting.
• Cashflow timing across contract execution, upfront payments, delivery, and invoicing.
• Proficient with ERP systems and MS Office, especially advanced Excel/Sheets.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end initiation, processing, tracking, and maintenance of POs in ERP, matching payment shapes.
• Monitor PO funding and follow up on invoices and exceptions; initiate top-ups as needed.
• Maintain budget view: approved, committed, executed, remaining; flag when nearing ceiling.
• Validate pricing against rate card; escalate non-compliant pricing for sign-off.
