Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer in the SCOT group focused on Fulfillment Optimization. You will architect data pipelines, automate reporting, and apply AI tooling to scale insights across the FO forecasting inputs.

Responsibilities include building data architectures for LA, IRA, DLA, creating weekly forecast bridges, and partnering with researchers to validate models and quantify business impact. This role emphasizes robust analytics and scalable dashboards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL.
• 3+ years SQL, ETL or Oracle experience.
• 3+ years processing large, multi‑dimensional datasets from multiple sources.
• 3+ years performing statistical analysis experience.
• 3+ years developing automated reporting experience.
• Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools.
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing and ETL pipelines.
• Experience with statistical packages such as R, SAS and Matlab.
• Experience using SQL to pull data and Python scripting for modeling.

Responsibilities

• Own the data architecture and reporting infrastructure for forecasting inputs across US and international marketplaces.
• Build and maintain automated pipelines producing weekly forecast bridges, variance decompositions, and accuracy tracking.
• Develop AI-assisted analytical workflows automating recurring analyses and anomaly detection.
• Partner with researchers to validate model outputs and translate improvements into business impact.
• Design and build self-service dashboards and data products for product managers and scientists.
• Mine and integrate data across simulation results, log files, fulfillment, and transport datasets.
• Drive data quality projects with data contracts, freshness monitoring, and alerting systems.
• Collaborate with software teams to support ML model delivery and large-scale experiments.
