Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer to drive AI-enabled analytics with high-exposure to executive decision support. You will define scalable data processes and dive into product metrics across global units, applying business and technical acumen in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include designing AI tools, automating reporting, and translating data insights for cross-functional teams. A strong foundation in ML, data mining and SQL is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience programming to extract, transform and clean large data sets.
• Experience with AWS technologies and data storage solutions.
• Experience with information retrieval, data science, ML and data mining.
• Experience with Cloud Storage and Computing technologies (AWS Redshift, S3, Hadoop).
• Scripting for automation (e.g., Python) and advanced SQL skills.
• Experience in the data/BI space.
• Experience creating AI-based tools for non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and build AI tools that derive actionable insights from large datasets.
• Own automated solutions for recurrent reporting and in-depth analyses of metrics decks.
• Drive improvement of analytical processes by automating and scaling self-service support.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to translate data into requirements.
• Promote best practices in reporting: data integrity, testing, validation, documentation.
