Job summary

Ford Energy, a newly formed subsidiary of Ford Motor Company, is seeking a data analytics leader to drive continuous improvement in yield, scrap, quality and throughput on the plant floor. You will build and deploy models on coating and formation data, detect defects, and translate model outputs into parameter changes, error‑proofing and standard work.

Own the local data connections (MES, historians such as PI or Ignition, PLC data) and collaborate with operators, technicians and process

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with coursework or hands‑on work in ML, data science, or analytics.
• Strong plant‑floor instinct.
• Comfortable with Python and plant data (MES, historians such as PI or Ignition, PLC data).

Responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvement in yield, scrap, quality, and throughput on the plant floor.
• Build and deploy models on plant data for coating and formation quality, defect detection, and yield root cause; turn model output into action and standard work.
