Hard Rock Digital, a leading player in online sportsbook and casino, seeks an Engineering Manager to head the Sportsbook Experience backend team. You will own people leadership, team health, and engineering excellence for the Java/Spring services behind Hard Rock Bet—pricing, odds, bets, and high-throughput APIs.

You will partner with Product Owners, the Director of Sportsbook, and other EMs to deliver high-quality software while championing AI-first development and responsible use of AI.

• Proven leadership experience in technical teams.
• Experience leading backend systems at scale.

Responsabilités

• Lead the Sportsbook Experience backend team with focus on reliability and performance.
• Own people leadership, performance, hiring, and career growth for the pod.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Directors of Sportsbook, and other EMs to align on priorities.
• Champion AI-first development, responsible AI practices, and learning initiatives.
• Ensure latency, observability, and compliance for real-money sports betting services.
