Zusammenfassung

Hard Rock Digital is seeking a hands-on Engineering Manager to lead the Sportsbook Experience backend team. You’ll own people leadership, team health, and engineering excellence for Java/Spring services powering Hard Rock Bet’s event data, pricing, bets, and high-throughput APIs.

You’ll partner with Product Owners and Directors to deliver quality software, promote AI-first practices, and drive continuous learning.

Qualifikationen

• Proven leadership experience in technology and mentoring engineers.
• Strong backend engineering background with Java/Spring Boot.
• Experience with scalable, low-latency systems and AWS/Kubernetes.

Aufgaben

• Lead the Sportsbook Experience backend pod, owning people leadership and architecture.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Directors, and TLs to align on priorities.
• Review PRs, guide design decisions, and ensure reliability and performance.
• Champion AI-first development practices and responsible AI use.
• Ensure platform health, observability, and on-call readiness.
