Hard Rock Digital is seeking a Principal Backend Engineer to shape the backend architecture for our Casino and Sportsbook apps. You will own technical direction across multiple teams and mentor engineers while delivering scalable, high-quality systems.

Responsibilities include designing complex features, reviewing code, and championing AI-assisted development practices to boost velocity and quality across the engineering organization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Set technical direction and architecture for cross-team systems.
• Contribute to design and implementation of complex features.
• Mentor Staff and Senior Engineers; perform code reviews.
