Qualifications

• Six or more years building complex software systems.
• Experience with AI-enabled engineering workflows.
• Strong background in distributed systems and fault-tolerant design.
• Proficiency in building and maintaining APIs and integrations (REST, gRPC).
• Experience in financially sensitive or regulated systems with audit trails and data controls.
• Excellent collaboration with non-technical stakeholders across functions.

Responsibilities

• Build financial operations and reporting infrastructure: backend services for Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Procurement.
• Lead a platform migration with zero disruption to agents and customers.
• Design workflow engines and event-driven automations for scalability.
• Own end-to-end integrations between internal platforms and external systems using APIs and messaging patterns.
• Partner with operations, compliance, and product to translate requirements into engineering work.
• Ensure compliance and data integrity with audit trails and access controls by default.
• Lead architecture discussions and code reviews to raise quality and reliability.
• Direct AI agents across the full development lifecycle, from prototyping to review.
• Identify opportunities to automate engineering tasks with AI-driven patterns.
