FiberFirst seeks an engineer to own and extend production automations across ticket intake, responses, and AI-assisted workflows. You will integrate disparate systems, instrument performance, and ensure reliability across voice and digital channels.

You will work with PostgreSQL/PostGIS, Databricks, and Unity Catalog while collaborating with CX, Network Ops and Eng to identify automation opportunities and deliver scalable solutions. Strong Python and SQL skills are essential.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent demonstrated experience.
• 3+ years writing production code with automation/integration focus.
• 2+ years of AI enablement experience.

Mansioni

• Build, operate and improve production automations for high-volume workflows.
• Own and improve existing automation and bring systems to a monitored standard.
• Design integrations using REST APIs, webhooks and direct DB access.
• Develop AI-assisted workflows and evaluate them before production.
• Instrument systems with explicit success/failure metrics.
• Maintain and extend conversational automation across channels.
• Add reliability, alerting and recovery to automated systems.
• Work with PostgreSQL/PostGIS and analytics platforms to support decisions.
• Document runbooks and tests; avoid single-person dependency.
• Administer Databricks workspace, Unity Catalog governance and costs.
