Job summary

Basis seeks a senior audit professional to own audit workflows within our AI-forward platform. You will ensure our agents perform audit tasks that align with professional standards, collaborating with top national firms to adapt methodologies for scalable deployment.

CPA licensure is required, with 8+ years at large firms and experience translating standards into usable tools. This role is based in NYC with in-person collaboration.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in audit, including real years running engagements end to end at a large firm.
• Time in a national office, professional practice, or methodology group.
• Experience translating standards into usable tools and content.
• Experience communicating methodology to practitioners and leadership.
• CPA license is required.

Responsibilities

• You'll own how audit works inside Basis and ensure agents reflect professional standards.
• You'll work with the largest firms to translate their ways of working onto the platform.
• You'll collaborate with product and ML teams on agent behavior and future ownership.
• You'll represent Basis before national offices and quality leaders.
• You'll implement changes when profession standards evolve.
