Basis, NYC, is seeking an experienced audit leader to own how audit works inside Basis and ensure agents reflect professional standards.

You will partner with the largest firms, translate standards into usable practice aids, and shape product direction with ML and product teams.

This role demands 8+ years in audit, CPA license, and experience deploying methodology across a practice; in-office five days a week.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in audit, including end-to-end engagements at a large firm.
• Experience in national office, practice or methodology groups.
• Experience translating standards into usable engagement tools and content.
• Experience communicating methodology to demanding audiences and leadership.
• CPA license required.

Responsibilities

• Own how audit works inside Basis and ensure agents reflect professional standards.
• Collaborate with top firms to adapt their processes on the platform.
• Work with product and ML teams on agent behavior and future ownerships.
• Represent Basis with national offices and quality leaders on audit conversations.
• Update Basis when profession standards change.
