Job summary

Oath is building the next generation audit firm powered by AI. We seek an experienced audit professional who can perform hands-on audit work while shaping AI-enabled workflows that support quality and scale.

This is a player‑manager role in a startup environment. You will review AI-generated outputs, close gaps, and collaborate with product and engineering to ensure audit accuracy and compliance with GAAS, PCAOB, IAASB.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of audit experience with a strong foundation in audit methodology.
• CPA, CA, or equivalent professional certification.
• Experience with audit workpapers and applicable standards.
• Comfortable both hands-on audit work and evaluating systems behind it.
• Strong written communication and documentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform and manage audit procedures directly, including planning, execution, and documentation.
• Review and validate AI-generated audit procedures, workpapers, and documentation.
• Identify gaps, errors, inconsistencies, and edge cases in AI-generated outputs.
• Develop quality review frameworks, checklists, and methodologies for AI-assisted audits.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to improve AI accuracy and audit workflows.
• Translate audit experience into feedback shaping product decisions and AI workflows.
• Stay up to date with GAAS, PCAOB, IAASB standards and ensure compliance.
• Document best practices and contribute to internal knowledge bases.
• Establish feedback loops that improve AI performance over time.
• Engage with clients on audit methodology questions and interpret AI-generated content.
• Manage client relationships and deadlines across internal and client teams.
• Jump into additional tasks to ensure smooth execution.
