Job summary

Vari is seeking an analytically driven Analytics Engineer to own business intelligence and data analytics across the organization. You will deliver statistical analysis, self‑service reporting, and advanced dashboards, while supporting the SQL Server data warehouse foundations.

You will bridge data capabilities with business teams, working with Sales, Operations, Finance, and Marketing to drive informed decisions and trusted insights.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of analytics engineering/BI or data analytic experience with statistical depth.
• Strong SQL Server and T‑SQL proficiency for querying, transformation, and analysis.
• Advanced Power BI skills including DAX, Power Query, semantic modelling, and row‑level security.
• Working knowledge of Python or R for data analysis and statistical modelling.
• Experience with Salesforce data as a reporting/analytical source.
• Familiarity with dimensional modeling concepts and star schema design.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management to translate data insights into business impact.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of dashboards, reports, and analytical products using Power BI and other BI tools.
• Apply statistical analysis techniques to surface meaningful patterns and trends.
• Build and maintain advanced data models with DAX and KPI frameworks.
• Partner with business stakeholders across Sales, Ops, Finance, and Marketing to drive decisions.
• Translate ambiguous business questions into well‑defined analytical deliverables.
• Present findings to technical and non‑technical audiences, including leadership.
• Incorporate AI/ML capabilities to augment analysis and automate insights.
